Google ranking factors: signals change — we will not invent a top-11

Google does not publish a ranked list of ranking factors. Signals change. This page will not invent a top-11 or assign fake weights. We cite Search Central ideas already used on this site: the link-spam policy, and that AI-features eligibility is not selection. English guest posts stay $125 to $450 on real hosts.

Does Google publish a ranked list of ranking factors?

No. Search Central does not ship a public leaderboard with “links at 25 percent” and “content at 30 percent.” Vendor blogs that print a top-10 or top-11 with invented weights are writing a slide, not quoting Google. Signals change. Systems get combined, renamed, and folded into ongoing classifiers. A dated recap post is not a specification you can buy against.

What Google does publish, and what this site already uses, is narrower. The Search spam policies include a link-spam section: schemes, networks, and scaled low-value placements meant to manipulate rankings. SpamBrain is the classifier that devalues a lot of that layer without a manual action. AI features and your website says AI Overviews and AI Mode use the same foundational eligibility as classic Search. Eligibility is not selection. There is no special AI markup.

We will not add a third “secret factor” we cannot show. Ahrefs Domain Rating is how we package English guest posts. It is not a Google ranking factor. Moz Domain Authority is a third-party score we do not sell against. English bands are $125 / $175 / $250 / $275 / $450. You can order DR40+ at $250 or send the brief on the quote form. Dual path stays open.

What does the link-spam policy actually tell buyers?

It tells you the object that is in trouble: networks, scaled paid dumps, and guest posting done as a scheme. It does not publish a ban on every article that includes a contextual link. Read the primary document on Search Central. We will not paraphrase it into a fear funnel or invent a penalty statistic. The longer policy pointer is Google link spam updates.

Paying a fulfilment desk is not, by itself, the scheme. The scheme is the pattern: industrial volume, irrelevant hosts, manipulative anchors, networks you control while pretending you do not. A contributed article on a site that already covers the topic, with a sentence a reader can survive, is the object we sell. The invoice is not the ethical test. The live URL is.

rel=sponsored and nofollow are how publishers mark paid links when they follow disclosure rules. When a host marks the link, we report it as marked. We do not sell a secret dofollow toggle. Marked editorial mentions still exist. Hidden PageRank on a farm is the thing the docs are for. DataForSEO still has to like the host before we pitch. Ahrefs and Semrush stay on the report as metrics, not as a ranking-factor export we invented.

What does “AI features eligibility is not selection” mean?

It means a page that can appear in Search with a snippet is eligible to be used as a source in AI Overviews and AI Mode. It does not mean Google reserved you a slot in the box. Crawlable, indexable, useful — that is the floor. Selection is a later decision we cannot sell. There is no AI-Overview schema that unlocks the citation.

Vendors who sell “AI ranking factor packages” or ChatGPT insertion orders are selling a label. We will not invent one. The commercial AI desk on this site is AI backlinks — quoted, no guaranteed Overview screenshot. English guest posts that feed classic rankings and source-page authority stay on the public card. Citation, if it happens, is the system’s decision later.

The practical mix is still boring: make the page worth citing, earn mentions where they are honest, and place contextual links to URLs that need to rank in classic results. Link building for AI Overviews is the campaign essay. Are backlinks still important is the “do links still matter” essay. This page stays on what we will not rank as a factor list.

Which third-party scores are not ranking factors?

Ahrefs Domain Rating. Moz Domain Authority. Semrush Authority Score. Any toolbar that paints 0–100 on a domain. Useful as a buying language. Useless as “what Google thinks.” We price the English card by DR so a buyer can compare rows. We still QC organic traffic and outbound in DataForSEO. A high badge on a dead site does not ship.

Toxic scores in those same tools are also not a Google verdict. Most red rows are a model being dramatic. Disavow is a rare cleanup tool, not a monthly factor you can buy. Read toxic backlinks and disavow if someone tried to sell you a cleanup SKU because a pie chart went red.

We report Ahrefs and Semrush figures after placement as metrics. Those companies are not clients. We will not put their logos on a PDF as if they retained us. We will not pick the higher of DR and DA to win a meeting. If your client lives in Moz, we can add DA as a field. It still does not become a ranking factor we sold you.

What will we not invent on a ranking-factor slide?

A numbered list of Google’s top factors. A percentage split. A “links are 20 percent” claim. A case study with a traffic multiple we cannot show. A ChatGPT ranking. A guaranteed AI Overview citation. A SpamBrain-safe SKU. A recovery bundle timed to a named update. Those slides are how farms get sold with extra adjectives.

We will also not say Google endorsed Worldwide Backlinks. Founded 2022, Richmond VIC, teams in Singapore and the Philippines, 10,000+ placements, 15+ languages, 100% manual — those are fulfilment facts. They are not a ranking case study. About 500 owned sites exist; they are used only when they fit a brief. They are not a hidden ranking system.

If a sales PDF needs a factor ranking to close, this is the wrong vendor. The offer is a live URL on a host you approved, unique copy, a report with DR, traffic, and anchor, and a replacement if the link drops. Typical TAT about two weeks, 20-day maximum on standard DR work. That clock is placement, not a ranking SLA. Niche edits from $99, international guest posts from $175, and iGaming from $180 stay on their own doors. Gold desks stay Enquire Now. None of those become a “factor add-on.” Open the live URL. That is the audit.

How should you brief a campaign without a fake top-11?

Name destination URLs. Name the language. Name the vertical honestly. Name exclusions. Pick a mechanic: guest post, niche edit, digital PR, Wikipedia. Brand-first anchors. A host class you will defend. A pace that does not look like week-one theatre. That brief can be quoted. “We need the ranking factors” cannot.

Order a packaged English guest post when the destination is a normal commercial URL and you know the band. DR40+ at $250 (QJE1WN) is the common volume row. Quote when the brief is mixed, international from $175, niche edits from $99, or iGaming from $180. Gold desks — Wikipedia, digital PR, directories, adult, CBD, crypto — stay Enquire Now.

The monthly agency package ($1,500, SKU 2R60XR) is a scoped desk, not a factor quota. White-label wraps the same public rates. Nobody gets a secret bargain SKU for calling the work “strategy.” Create an account at clients.worldwidebacklinks.com when you already know the band. Enquiry stays visible if you want a human to check the brief first.

What does this desk sell instead of a factor package?

Editorial placements on traffic-checked hosts. English guest posts on the five published bands. Niche edits as quote-only inserts. Digital PR when you have a story — quoted, no public Worldwide Backlinks dollar figure. Wikipedia when notability is real — also quoted. That is the menu. It is not a ranking-factor productized into eleven SKUs.

Hard niches stay on their doors. Casino and sportsbook use iGaming from $180, quote-only. Adult, CBD, and crypto stay Enquire Now. YMYL finance and law are quote-first because fewer hosts will take the URL. We will say no rather than hide a sportsbook inside a $125 lifestyle post and call it “off-page factors.” International guest posts start at $175 because native outreach is the work, not because a ccTLD invents a local ranking factor. Niche edits from $99 stay quote-only on pages that already exist.

Stay on guest posts or pricing if you already know the band. Read what is link building if you still need the object defined. Read is link building worth it if the question is the invoice, not the factor list. This page exists so we can refuse the top-11 without pretending Google handed us one. Create an account at clients.worldwidebacklinks.com when the destination is a normal commercial English URL. Enquiry stays on the same page if you want a human to check the brief first. Founded 2022, Richmond VIC. About 500 owned sites, used only when they fit. Third-party editorial is still the default.

How do changing signals affect a 2026 order?

They make host quality more valuable, not less. Classifiers got better at ignoring farms. Answer engines cite pages they already trust. That is a reason to stop buying junk hosts. It is not a reason to invent a new factor SKU or to stop placing contextual links on publications a stranger might read.

Read the current Search Central docs, not a Twitter thread about an old named update. Google has run dedicated link-spam updates and folded a lot of that work into ongoing systems. The names in old recap posts matter less than whether your live URLs look like publishing. If you need a dated recap, use Google’s own blog, not a vendor timeline designed to sell a cleanup package.

We reply within 24 hours. Phone 1 800 751 994. We will still refuse a host that looks like a farm. We will still not print a ranked factor list. Order DR40+ at $250 if that is the piece you already know you need, or quote the mix. Signals change. The inventory rules do not: no PBNs, no blast networks, no expired-domain costumes, no ranking guarantees. Typical TAT about two weeks, 20-day maximum on standard DR work — placement, not a ranking clock. Unique copy. Live URL on the report. Replacement if the link drops. That is the 2026 offer without a factor coupon.

Common questions

What are Google’s top ranking factors?

Google does not publish a ranked list. We will not invent a top-11 or assign weights. Signals change. Read Search Central, not a vendor slide.

Are backlinks still a ranking factor?

Google still treats links as a signal and still fights link spam. A farm slot is not the same object as an editorial citation. We do not sell ranking insurance.

Is Domain Rating a Google ranking factor?

No. Ahrefs DR packages our English guest-post card. Moz DA is not a SKU either.

Do AI Overviews use different ranking factors?

Search Central says AI features use the same foundational eligibility as Search. Eligibility is not selection. There is no special AI markup and no ChatGPT ranking SKU.

Will you sell a SpamBrain-safe or factor package?

No. English guest posts stay $125–$450. QC is the work. The name is not a SKU.

Which English band should I order if I still need links?

DR40+ at $250 (QJE1WN) is the usual volume row. Quote international, niche edits from $99, or a hard niche.

Where do you document link spam?

We point at Google’s Search spam policies — the link-spam section — and at our Google link spam updates guide. Read the primary docs.
