What Domain Authority is — and what this page will not do
DA is Moz’s attempt to predict how a domain might compete in search, on a roughly 1–100 logarithmic scale. It is not Google’s score. It is not DataForSEO’s spam value. It is not a ranking. Two sites with the same DA can be a newspaper and a guest-post farm. Treating DA as a buy filter is how people purchase junk.
This page will fetch the URL you paste and show HTTP status plus the HTML title. That is a real lookup. It will not interpolate a DA from title length, from DR gossip, or from a screenshot of someone else’s toolbar. If a vendor’s “free DA checker” prints 44, ask whether they pay Moz. If they do not, they guessed.
Worldwide Backlinks still uses DataForSEO before we approve a publisher. Traffic and spam stay hidden when that hook is dark — we would rather show nothing than a costume number. The paid write-up is the link audit.
We will not sell “raise your DA in 30 days.” DA moves on Moz’s model. Guest posts can add referring domains. Rankings are Google’s decision. Dual conversion for actual links lives on pricing.
