Exchange & Web3

Crypto backlinks from editorial sites, not the farm-blog layer that already saturates this niche

Crypto backlinks on this desk are editorial citations from publishers who still have readers and who will take a commercial crypto URL on purpose — exchanges, wallets, on-ramps, infrastructure — not the farm-blog layer that already saturates this niche. Token roundups, “top 10 wallets,” and expired blogs that exist to sell DR are the default product elsewhere. Serious Web3 brands need the other thing. That work is quoted. It is not a shopping cart, not English GP $125, not iGaming $180. Typical TAT about two weeks; editorial crypto can take longer. Replacement if the link drops.

Editorial crypto outreach versus the farm-blog default

A useful crypto backlink is a contextual citation from a page that would exist if nobody was selling links: a fintech column, a developer blog, a regional business publisher, a genuine coin-news desk that still has staff. The farm-blog default is the opposite: dozens of sites with the same outbound pattern, the same writers, and a homepage that is a grid of sponsored tokens. Google has seen that graph. So have the exchanges’ own risk teams when they look at referral traffic.

The niche is spam-heavy because tokens need listings fast, affiliates are paid on sign-ups, and DR is easy to fake with networks. Marketplace catalogues are full of “crypto accepted” rows that are the same ten blogs under new themes. Buying them is how a new exchange starts to look like a shitcoin in the backlink profile. We would rather quote fewer URLs on hosts we have actually talked to.

Exchanges, wallets, on-ramps, NFT markets, and infrastructure tools are not one publisher conversation. A licensed on-ramp in a named country is easier to explain than an anonymous DEX with no company page. We ask what the destination is. We will not write “the safest exchange in the world” into a guest article. We will not seed paid-group screenshots or invented volume figures. Ahrefs and Semrush are for reporting metrics on the links we place — they are not clients, and we do not drop their names as if they endorsed the campaign.

Worldwide Backlinks: founded 2022 by Callum Sherwood, Richmond VIC. 10,000+ backlinks, 15+ languages, 40+ countries, 100% manual, teams in Australia, Singapore, and the Philippines. DataForSEO QC. ~500 owned sites in the wider company — not a Web3 PBN we sell as “from our media partners.” Crypto is Enquire Now because editorial yeses do not line up with the English guest-post grid.

Who should use this page instead of Guest Posts

Exchanges and on-ramps

Brand and product URLs that need to sit next to finance and fintech publishers, not token farms. Licence and geo belong in the brief.

Wallets, infrastructure, and B2B Web3

Devtools and custody products often fit independent tech publishers better than “best altcoins 2026” blogs. That is a different pitch than a retail exchange.

Agencies who will not touch token spam

You need a partner who will refuse farm inventory rather than fill a monthly quota. White-label once quoted. General English guest posts assume publishers in ordinary verticals; this URL usually does not.

How we keep a crypto campaign off the farm layer

  1. 01

Classify the product before we classify DR

Exchange, wallet, card, NFT, L2, agency landing page — each has a different publisher set. Casino-plus-crypto or adult-plus-token mixes need to be said up front because many hosts will take one and ban the other.

  2. 02

Reject neighbourhoods that already look like a network

If the outbound profile is wall-to-wall ICOs, we pass. DataForSEO scanning is the floor, not a badge. A high DR farm is still a farm.

  3. 03

Pitch the URL as crypto; write for the host

Editors who cover markets or technology get a piece that belongs on their site. We do not paste a “what is blockchain” explainer with your token ticker in paragraph four.

  4. 04

Report metrics, replace if it drops

Live URL, DR/traffic/anchor. Typical TAT about two weeks; 20-day max on standard work. Editorial crypto can take longer. Dropped links get replacements. No 48-hour “Web3 marketplace” fantasy.

How to recognise the farm layer before you buy it

Tells: every post is a ranked list of coins; authors have no archive outside crypto; the site’s referring domains are other listicles; the about page is three sentences and a Telegram handle; the same screenshot of an “exchange dashboard” appears on twenty URLs. That graph is for sale because it is cheap to produce. It is not how a regulated exchange wants to look.

Editorial tells: a masthead, a beat (markets, regulation, developers, regional business), bylines that also write about non-crypto topics, outbound links to non-affiliates, and an editor who will say no to a brand that looks like a rug. Those hosts cost more time. That is the quote. Digital PR is the path when you actually have a newsworthy dataset or a journalist-ready peg; this page is still outreach to hosts that will take a commercial crypto URL.

International crypto is not an English article on a ccTLD. Japanese, German, Spanish, and Portuguese finance readers live on local SERPs. If you need those languages, say so. The wider desk already runs 15+ languages for international guest posts; crypto still has to pass the “will this host take a token/exchange URL” test in that language.

Published USD rates

No monthly minimum. The quote form on this page prefills the service. Wikipedia, adult, CBD, crypto, and directories are Enquire Now. Full tables live on pricing.

Wikipedia, adult, CBD, crypto, directories, custom

Quoted to the brief. Same white-hat QC. White-label uses the published rates plus branded reports — no extra SKU.

Crypto versus casino, adult, and CBD

iGaming has a published table ($180–$550 English) because gambling-accepting publishers are a priced specialty we run often. Crypto’s problem is the opposite of scarcity-plus-licence: oversupply of junk. Adult and CBD are restricted-ads problems. Do not buy a “grey niches bundle” with casino. The referring domains will rhyme, and not in a good way.

Wikipedia, custom campaigns, and directories are also Enquire Now. A Wikipedia page about your token will fail if the subject is not notable under encyclopaedia rules. Do not treat wiki as a crypto backlink package.

Questions people actually search

Why is crypto Enquire Now if you publish guest-post prices?

The public GP table assumes publishers in ordinary verticals. Crypto editorial that is not a farm does not sit in that grid. We quote after we see the destination.

Can you place links for a new token with no product?

Usually we will not. Farm blogs will. That is the split this page is about. If there is a real product and a company footprint, send it.

Do you guarantee listings on specific crypto news brands?

No named-logo promises. We place on hosts that accept the URL after outreach. Digital PR for a news desk is a different enquire if the story is actually newsworthy.

Will you use PBNs or expired “coin magazine” networks?

Not as the product. Owned inventory (~500 sites company-wide) is not a token farm. If a candidate looks like a network, QC fails it.

What metrics appear on the report?

Live URL, DR, traffic, anchor — typically via Ahrefs/Semrush as tools. DataForSEO underpins QC. Those companies are not our clients.

TAT for exchange campaigns?

Plan for about two weeks typical, 20-day maximum on standard placements. Editorial crypto often needs more pitches. We do not sell 48-hour delivery.

Can this run in Japanese or German?

Yes if we have hosts in that language who will take the URL. Native copy, native pitch. Still quoted.

Money-back if rankings do not move?

No. We replace dropped links. We do not sell ranking insurance or fake rejection rates.
