Wikipedia page creation and editing — COI-safe, neutral

Creating a Wikipedia article is not a guest-post order and it is not a paid-link product. Wikipedia has rules: notability, independent reliable sources, and a neutral point of view. Worldwide Backlinks drafts and files pages against those rules. We will not promise the article stays live forever — volunteer reviewers can delete, draftify, or strip links. If a page we placed is dropped, we replace the work or re-file according to the brief. This is quoted, not a DR package. Enquire Now.

How to create a Wikipedia page (and when we will not)

This page covers create, edit, and citations on one URL. A new Wikipedia article is an encyclopedia entry. It has to summarise what independent, reliable publications have already said about a notable subject. It is not a company bio, a launch announcement, or a place to park a dofollow backlink. Outbound links on Wikipedia are nofollow. Anyone selling “Wikipedia DR90 links” as a ranking hack is selling you a misunderstanding — or a page that will be deleted.

How to create a Wikipedia page, in the real sense: establish that the subject meets notability (significant coverage in multiple independent sources), gather those sources, write in a dispassionate voice, declare conflict of interest where it applies, and submit through the process Wikipedia actually uses — Articles for Creation, a draft, or a direct mainspace publication only when that is appropriate. Skipping those steps is how pages die in hours.

We act as a third-party researcher and drafter, not as your in-house PR team posting from a brand account. Callum Sherwood’s company has run this desk since 2022 alongside the link-building work, with people in Australia, Singapore, and the Philippines. Wikipedia does not run on our 20-day guest-post TAT. Reviewers move when they move. We will tell you if the source pile is too thin to try. We would rather lose the job than file a doomed draft.

If the page already exists, the brief is Wikipedia editing: sourced updates, citation fixes, NPOV cleanup — not a second article. Independent coverage that later underwrites notability is closer to digital PR than to a stack of sponsored posts.

Who should commission a new Wikipedia page

Notable companies and people

You already have substantial independent press: national newspapers, trade journals, books, or academic cites. If the only sources are your website, a press release wire, and LinkedIn, you are not ready. We will say that on the quote call.

Brands that need an encyclopedic record, not a link

The value is a stable, cited public record and the visibility of a Wikipedia URL. It is not a DR bump. If you came here from a “buy Wikipedia backlinks” ad, read the honesty section below before you pay anyone — including us.

Agencies whose clients asked for a page

You can white-label other link work at the same GP/NE rates. Wikipedia is still Enquire Now and still has to meet notability. We will not put a client logo on a draft that Wikipedia would reject.

How we create a page against Wikipedia’s rules

  1. 01

    Notability and source audit

We read what already exists. Independent coverage is the gate. Affiliated blogs, sponsored posts, and your own guest articles do not count. If the audit fails, we stop and you are not billed for a fantasy page.

  2. 02

    Outline and conflict-of-interest handling

We propose section structure from the sources, not from your marketing site. Paid editing and COI have disclosure norms on Wikipedia. We work inside those norms rather than trying to hide the relationship.

  3. 03

    Draft in encyclopedic voice

No superlatives, no “leading provider,” no call-to-action. Every contentious fact gets an inline citation. We write as if a sceptical reviewer will try to delete the draft tomorrow — because they might.

  4. 04

    Submission, talk-page defence, replacements

We file the draft and respond to reviewer comments with sources, not arguments. If the page is declined or later deleted, we do not pretend it is still live. Replacements or a re-file are part of the engagement when the drop is on us — not a guarantee that Wikipedia will host the article forever.

What a Wikipedia creation quote covers

  1. 01

Notability and independent-source audit before drafting

  2. 02

Neutral, cited draft written against Wikipedia’s rules

  3. 03

Conflict-of-interest handling rather than stealth editing

  4. 04

Submission and response to reviewer comments

  5. 05

Honest status reporting — live, draft, declined, or deleted

  6. 06

Replacement or re-file if a page we placed is dropped

  7. 07

Quoted fee — not English GP rates, not a DR grid

Honesty: no paid-link guarantee of staying live forever

Wikipedia is run by volunteers. They delete advertising. They delete poorly sourced biographies. They delete companies that only exist in their own press releases. Paying Worldwide Backlinks does not buy immunity from that. Anyone who guarantees a Wikipedia URL “for life” is either lying or planning to sockpuppet until they get caught.

What we can stand behind: we work against the rules (notability, NPOV, reliable sources, no undisclosed paid spam). We do not add promotional dofollow schemes. If a page or citation we were responsible for is dropped, we replace or re-work it on a comparable basis. We cannot force the Wikimedia community to keep an article that fails their tests after the fact.

Nofollow is expected. If your KPI is “ranking power from a wiki link,” buy guest posts on the published table ($125–$350 English) instead. If your KPI is a public encyclopedic entry, stay here and accept the slower, stricter process. Building 1, 658 Church Street, Richmond VIC 3121 · 1 800 751 994 · support@worldwidebacklinks.com.

Rule-following page creation vs Wikipedia spam

The market is full of “Wikipedia backlink” sellers. Most of that inventory is paid links stuffed into articles, or new pages that read like brochures. We will not compete on that. The contrast is the product.

Wikipedia editing and citations on the same brief

Creation starts from a red link or a missing topic. Editing starts from an article that already has a history, talk page, and often watchers. Mixing the two is how COI editors get blocked. If Acme Corp already has a page with a wrong founding date, that is an edit. If Acme Corp has never had a page, that is creation — and notability must be proven from scratch. We handle both on this URL so you do not get a doorway clone for “how to edit a Wikipedia page.”

Citations have to support the article as a whole. Dumping a stack of your own guest posts as “sources” will get the draft declined. We look for newspapers, books, regulator filings, and independent magazines. Ahrefs DR of those sources is irrelevant; Wikipedia does not rank domains the way SEOs do. Paid editors and people with a conflict of interest are expected to disclose that connection. We disclose and we work as an outside desk, not as a sockpuppet for the subject.

Typical editing briefs we accept: a wrong founding year, a missing independent award already covered in reliable press, a dead citation, promotional adjectives that should never have been in the article. Typical briefs we refuse: inserting a commercial URL as a “reference,” deleting competitors, inflating claims, and turning the infobox into an advert. Turnaround is not the ~2 week guest-post clock. A source audit can be days. Reviewer queues can be weeks.

Wikipedia page creation & editing FAQ

How to create a Wikipedia page?

Prove notability with independent reliable sources, write a neutral draft with inline citations, handle conflict of interest transparently, and submit through Wikipedia’s actual process (often Articles for Creation). We do that as a paid research-and-draft service. We do not bypass reviewers.

Can you guarantee the page stays live forever?

No. Wikipedia volunteers can delete or rewrite anything. We work against the rules and replace work if a page we placed is dropped. Forever-live guarantees are not something an honest desk can sell.

Do Wikipedia links help SEO?

They are nofollow. The benefit is visibility, trust, and a citation graph — not a cheap DR bump. For ranking-focused links, use guest posts or niche edits on the published USD tables.

How much does Wikipedia page creation cost?

Enquire Now. It is not DR20 $125 and it is not a package on the guest-post grid. Price depends on source complexity, language, and whether notability is already obvious.

Will you create a page if we are not notable yet?

No. We will tell you the source gap. Buying more guest posts does not automatically create Wikipedia notability, especially if those posts are sponsored.

Do you also edit existing articles?

Yes — on this same URL. Sourced updates, citation fixes, and NPOV cleanup for pages that already exist. Creation and editing share Wikipedia’s rules but not the same workflow; tell us which you need on the quote form. Wikipedia is preselected.

Is this white-hat?

We follow Wikipedia’s rules rather than fighting them with sockpuppets. Paid editing still has disclosure expectations. If you want undisclosed spam, we are the wrong vendor.
